Holidays
Happy First Day of Winter. The holidays are upon us and it's time to reflect again over the past year.
I am so thankful for each and everyone of my students. The school is about so much more than learning T'ai Chi, it's
about learning how to live. I watched the students ready themselves for class this week. They took their time,
sat down to take off their shoes and relax a minute, some chatted with others as they ate a brownie, others just slowly walked
around the room or practiced some T'ai Chi moves. In every case, time slowed down. There was no hurry to go or
be anywhere but where they were. I realized that those who continued coming to class are those who 'got it'....slow
down, enjoy life, take time back, meander. It's not about learning new moves, it's about slowing down, enjoying each
other. What a wonderful gift...Love and Time. Happy Holidays to All!

Tao Te Ching Seventy-Six A man is born gentle and weak. At his death he is hard and stiff. Green plants are tender and filled with sap. At their death
they are withered and dry. Therefore the stiff and unbending is the disciple of death. The
gentle and yielding is the disciple of life. Thus and army without flexibility never wins a battle. A tree
that is unbending is easily broken. The hard and strong will fall. The soft and weak will overcome. (consider the waters hitting the rocks).

near. A rustling leaf, a rolling slope Speak to my heart of endless hope.
